My achievements over the years have been many ... for the purposes of this information sheet, I single out the following (in reverse chronological order) in an effort to briefly portray my flexibility and initiative:-
1 Re-organised the entire Accounting Department for a large Dental Practice.
2 Conceived, planned and implemented a Programme for Street Youth for an NGO.
3 Have succsessfully served well over 60 satisfied clients going back to 1985.
4 Held the position of Financial Manager for a subsidiary of Halliburton and, in this capacity, I managed the financial aspect of a multi-billion Rand project (the Selibi-Phikwe Copper/Nickel Mine development) in Botswana.
5 In partnership with two others, I founded and operated a successful Safari business. We eventually sold the business to a subsidiary of the Standard Bank Investment Corporation.
6 In 1960, I matriculated at Damelin College (University entrance pass); having spent the rest of my time as a boarder at St. Davids Marist Brothers College (Inanda, Johannesburg). Selected for 1st Team Cricket. Captain of 2nd Team Rugby. Southern Transvaal Junior Tennis. Broke the 100yds Sprint Record in Athletics.
